TYLER Burey is back at Hartlepool to complete his loan spell, with Millwall boss Gary Rowett refusing to rule out an extension to the deal.
The 20-year-old forward tore a hamstring in September and has been back with the London club for treatment.
Burey recently returned to action for the Lions’ Under-23 side and is now back in the north east, with his initial loan spell ending on January 1.
“He’s gone back up there now to be part of their last two games,” said Rowett. “If they’re on we’ll assess afterwards what we do, whether he stays.”
