Clubs count cost of lost matches
THE Football League is facing up to an uncertain end to the year – and start to 2022 – as Covid-19 continues to take a grip.

Today’s Boxing Day programme has been decimated and midweek matches have already started to fall by the wayside.
Clubs are counting the cost as today’s games would traditionally attract some of the biggest crowds of the season.
Welsh clubs also fear they will suffer due to the Welsh Government’s decision to ban fans from their home games due to rising coronavirus cases.
Swansea boss Russell Martin said: “It’s affecting us already.”
