THOMAS LAUDED BY JOEY

BRISTOL Rovers boss Joey Barton has told Luke Thomas he can go as far as he wants in the game if he continues with the same attitude he has shown recently.
Barton has been critical of the on-loan Barnsley winger, recently saying he was in the “last-chance saloon” at Rovers, but he has been pleased with the 22-year-old’s response both in training and during his late cameo in the win over Rochdale.
The Pirates boss said: “If he keeps doing that, his ability is so great he can do anything he wants. He is really that good of a player.”
