Festive schedule will test teams to the limit

WE’RE already into December and it won’t be long before we get a feast of football over the festive season.
The Christmas period will no doubt divide opinion once more for fans, players, and managers.
As a player, I can tell you that in the main I enjoyed it. For starters, there’s less training and more games.
Sitting at home demolishing tubs of Quality Street or watching reruns of Only Fools and Horses can only go on for so long, so getting out of the house and playing and training over Christmas was okay for me. But not everyone agrees with my preference.
