MATTY Stevens used to pack a punch in the ring – now he wants to land some knockout blows as Forest Green Rovers hunt promotion.
Pre-weekend, the 23-year-old striker had notched eight goals in league and cup to spearhead the Gloucestershire club’s promotion challenge.
But it could all have been different if he had decided to stick with boxing, a sport which is in his family’s blood.
