MARK Robinson admits goalkeeper Nik Tzanev has exceeded his expectations.
The 24-year-old impressed during a loan spell at Sutton in 2019-20 and has established himself as the Dons’ No.1 over the last six months.
The New Zealand international signed a new three-year deal this week, and Robinson said: “Nik absolutely deserves it.
“I felt that if he got the opportunity it would just be a matter of confidence. That has been the case.
“He has been fantastic – even beyond my expectations.”
