PORTSMOUTH boss Danny Cowley reckons the summer transfer window ‘felt like the longest one in history’ – and other managers will probably agree with him.
Fourteen new players arrived at Fratton Park as Cowley reshaped his squad, though that was nothing compared to Ipswich’s 19 signings.
It does seem to have been an extremely busy window for a lot of clubs, with bigger squad revamps going on.
