MITCH ON MISSION TO PROVE CLASS AT STANLEY

MITCH Clark is ready to throw himself in at the deep end after signing for Accrington Stanley on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old was on the books of Aston Villa in the early stages of his career prior to joining Leicester on a three-year agreement, though senior appearances were not forthcoming for either Premier League team.
Three loan spells at Port Vale got the juices flowing but it’s the third tier of English football and the chance to join forces with John Coleman that really whetted the defender’s appetite.
