WYCOMBE boss Gareth Ainsworth was thrilled with Tjay De Barr’s start in English football.
The Gibraltar international sent the Chairboys into the third round of the Carabao Cup with a stoppage-time equaliser to make it 2-2 at Stevenage before scoring the decisive shoot-out penalty.
Ainsworth said of the 21-year-old forward: “What a debut that is for him. He’s only young and he’s never played in the English leagues, but he made an impact.”
