THE pull of AFC Wimbledon’s unique story was enough for Luke McCormick to leave Chelsea a year earlier than planned – and the midfielder now wants to play a central role in writing the Dons’ next chapter.
The 22-year-old had been with the Blues since the age of six but the thought of becoming one of the club’s perennial loanees did not appeal to a player who impressed in a season-long spell at Bristol Rovers last season.
