BAMBA TO HELP COACH AT BORO ACADEMY

MIDDLESBROUGH boss Neil Warnock believes Sol Bamba can prove to be “a real asset” after he joined the club this week.
The 36-year-old defender officially moves to Teesside in a player-coach role, having successfully recovered from cancer in May.
Bamba underwent treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphoma earlier this year but, after recovering, started to train with Boro in the summer and has now signed a one-year deal to continue his association with Warnock, who he worked with at Cardiff.
