The Football League Paper says...

IT FELT like real football yesterday, didn’t it? As the fans streamed back in to grounds up and down the land, the atmosphere that was so sadly lacking last season was right back with us.
The noise, the colour, the excitement, the boos, the banter – it all mixed with that heady dose of optimism you normally get about your team on the opening day of the season.
Let’s hope it’s the start of something that will continue throughout the campaign and that everyone connected with football in whatever capacity will follow the protoc...
