BOWYER’S BACKING HENDO…

BOSS Gary Bowyer is hoping Ian Henderson can fire Salford City to promotion.
The 36-year-old striker’s stoppage-time winner at Bradford in midweek took the Ammies into the top seven ahead of yesterday’s clash with Colchester.
It was Henderson’s 18th goal of another hugely impressive season, and Bowyer said: “The control and finish from Ian was sublime.
“He is a top marksman. He is a fantastic player who has been scoring goals for many years and hopefully there is more to come from him.”
