Squad size issue needs a quick fix

The Football League Paper says...

AS WE head into the closing stages of this season, a row is brewing between the EFL and the Professional Footballers’ Association over an important issue next term.
On Thursday, the PFA sent an open letter to EFL clubs and players, and copied in EFL chief executive Trevor Birch, to raise their concerns about proposed squad size limits next season.
Under the EFL’s plans, Championship clubs can have 25 players, but Leagues One and Two would be limited to 20 next season. The PFA argue these limits were introduced without consultation and ...
