MATT Smith has set his sights on a promotion push after joining Charlton on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old midfielder spent the first half of this season on loan at Swindon, where he scored two goals in 26 appearances for the struggling Robins.
Charlton boss Lee Bowyer said: “I like he looks to play forward every time he receives the ball, he’s going to be another good addition to our squad.”
Smith said: “I want to come here and help the team get promotion.”
