STEVE Evans is confident James Morton will prove a hit during his loan spell at Gillingham.
The 21-year-old Bristol City midfielder spent the first half of the season with Grimsby and will spend the rest of the campaign with Gills.
Evans said: “The lad has a brilliant left foot and gives us some wonderful balance in the middle of the pitch.
“Our fans will love this lad and I am delighted he has chosen us over two clubs in the top six.”
