Balcombe’s one Ell of a hero as he denies Imps

ELLERY Balcombe turned in a superb performance for Doncaster, saving two second-half penalties as Rovers toppled leaders Lincoln.
Taylor Richards fired the visitors ahead after 15 minutes, but Balcombe ensured a smash-and-grab victory, saving first from Jorge Grant and then from Anthony Scully as they held on to a precious victory.
Rovers boss Darren Moore was full of praise for the on-loan stopper.
“For Ellery to make two penalty saves, it will live long in the memory,” he said.
“Take nothing away from Lincoln, they played really, really well today.
