WAYNE Rooney vowed to leave ‘no stone unturned’ after being appointed Derby County manager on a permanent basis.
The former Manchester United and England striker had been in interim charge of the Rams, claiming three wins and four draws from nine matches from late November to early January.
It was enough to convince the Championship outfit the 35-year-old, who has called time on his illustrious playing career, should be given the role full-time. His deal runs until the summer of 2023.
