It’s been a year we will never forget
IF ANYONE had predicted a year ago that 2020 would pan out how it has, no-one would have believed it. Covid-19 has ravaged the country and left families to mourn the loss of loved ones, while others have had to battle for their lives to stave off the disease. We have seen our daily schedules transformed and freedoms taken away.
From a purely footballing point of view, it has been a year we’ll never forget. As the game bowed to the inevitable and went into hibernation in mid-March, we wondered if the 2019-20 season would ever be finished.
