BOATENG’S U’S SPELL AT AN END

HIRAM Boateng may have played his last game for Cambridge after suffering shoulder ligament damage.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who is on loan with the U’s from MK Dons, faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines and is not expected to be back until after his spell has ended.
Cambridge boss Mark Bonner would be keen to bring Boateng back to the club, however, and said: “Hiram will be out for probably eight weeks.
“He has a slight tear of a ligament around the shoulder, which required some keyhole surgery.
“We’ll want to keep him, but we’ll see...
