THE century barrier was broken as the EFL enjoyed a goal bonanza yesterday.
A total of 101 were scored across the three divisions at a rate of almost three a game. There were 30 strikes in the Championship, 38 in League One and 33 in League Two. Bournemouth led the way in the EFL’s top tier with a 5-0 rout of Huddersfield, while Luton’s James Collins a hat-trick in their 3-0 win against Preston.
