MIDDLESBROUGH boss Neil Warnock wants to build a team around Paddy McNair.
The Northern Ireland international, who is closing in on 100 appearances for Boro, this week signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the end of the 2023-24 season.
The 25-year-old midfielder had 18 months remaining on his current deal, but Warnock was keen to tie him down.
