DANIEL Powell earned the praise of his manager David Artell after inspiring Crewe to a stirring comeback in midweek.
The winger scored and provided two assists in the 4-2 win over Swindon, with the Robins having taken a 2-0 lead.
“I thought Daniel was our best player in the first half and he went on further in the second half,” Artell said. “He was so effective, but we kept giving him the ball and at one point he was probably sick of receiving it!”
