BENNETT MAKES UP FOR LOST TIME AT SWANS

RYAN Bennett is making the most of a second opportunity at Swansea.
The former Norwich and Wolves defender almost joined the Welsh club from Peterborough in January 2012.
Bennett was en route to Brendan Rodgers’ Swansea on transfer deadline day until a last-minute call saw him turn around on the motorway and head for Premier League rivals Norwich.
“I didn’t know that when I signed him,” said Swansea head coach Steve Cooper.
