EFL MUST MAKE SURE THAT IT DOESN’T ALL END IN TIERS

THE sound of turnstiles clanking for the first time in nine months will be music to the ears of everyone in football.
For some, though, that tune is sweeter than others. Just under half of all teams in Leagues One and Two are based in areas under Tier 3 restrictions, meaning they cannot admit any fans at all.
The other 25 can host up to 2,000 supporters with all the extra revenue – food sales, programmes, etc – their presence will bring.
