RYAN Bowman led the way with a second-half hat-trick as Exeter stormed to a stunning 6-1 victory against hapless Colchester.
Matt Jay notched twice and Joel Randall also struck as the Grecians ran riot.
Danny Rowe (two), Ben Garrity and Conor McAleny were on target for Oldham as they ran out 4-3 victors in a thriller at Barrow.
Leaders Newport were held to a 1-1 home draw by Walsall. Elijah Adebayo put the Saddlers ahead on 21 minutes, but Scott Twine’s long-range effort was fumbled by keeper Liam Roberts two minutes later to earn Newport a point.
