PRESTON keeper Declan Rudd took advantage of the recent international break to enjoy some much-needed rest and recuperation.
Rudd, a former England Under-21 international, has been a first-team regular at Deepdale for a number of seasons, and the chance to be able to switch off for a spell during a hectic run of fixtures was welcomed.
The 29-year-old ex-Norwich and Charlton keeper said: “The schedule has been hectic and these international breaks give you a chance to recharge your batteries and it is more of a mental rebuild than a physical one.
