CALLUM Jones admits he has played more first-team minutes than he had expected so far this season at Hull and described captaining the side as “a proud moment”.
The Wales Under-19 international skippered the Tigers in their Papa John’s Trophy clash against Harrogate in midweek, leading them to a 2-0 victory.
“Coming into pre-season, I thought I’d hopefully be in and around it, but the gaffer’s put his trust in me”, said Jones, who was used at right-back.
