FLINDERS TO MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME

GOALKEEPER Scott Flinders feels he is now ready to kick on and fight for the No.1 jersey at Cheltenham Town after a lengthy injury lay-off.
The 34-year-old has struggled to overcome a leg problem he suffered at the start of January, feeling a twinge when he made an initial comeback in October.
He lasted 45 minutes of the game against Plymouth, but kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 midweek win against Norwich U21s in the Papa John’s Trophy.
“Getting out there doesn’t feel like I’ve been away now, but it’s been a long year!” he said.
