JORDAN Rossiter made his long-awaited return from injury for Fleetwood this week, but knows he faces a fight to regain a regular starting spot.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been out of action since November 2019 when he suffered a knee injury against Tranmere.
He played 45 minutes of the Papa John’s Trophy win over Sunderland, and said: “It felt amazing. It’s a fantastic midfield and I think we’re all going to relish the battle in the next few weeks.”
