CAMBRIDGE will rue the goal at the death which cost them top spot in League Two.
With Newport not in action the U’s knew that a win would move them top, and they were seconds away from securing that. But Matt Platt’s leveller, Barrow’s last touch of the ball in the match, was the least the Cumbrians deserved having created the vast majority of chances throughout the afternoon. They will have been frustrated not to have been ahead before the break having hit the woodwork twice.
