First game attended?
We went to watch Sheffield Wednesday against Liverpool (in 1997) and it was a crazy game. Wednesday keeper Kevin Pressman got injured, the sub keeper Matt Clarke got sent off and Andy Booth had to go in goal.
Liverpool’s Jamie Redknapp scored an absolute screamer and it finished 1-1. Wednesday were a good Premier League side when I was growing up and I remember Hillsborough being absolutely bouncing.
