JAKE THE HERO FOR NEW-LOOK ADDICKS

NEW-LOOK Charlton had four full debutants in their side but it was familiar face Jake Forster-Caskey who scored their winner.
His first goal for almost three years, a second-half free-kick, proved the difference in the victory at The Valley against Wigan. The Addicks have recruited 11 new players with the backing of new owner Thomas Sandgaard.
“The new boys did very well, especially when you consider the fact that two of them only signed on Friday morning, and it was a good team performance,” said Charlton manager Lee Bowyer.
