KARANKA: PATIENCE CRUCIAL AS LEKO RETURNS

BIRMINGHAM boss Aitor Karanka has been impressed with attacker Jonathan Leko as he makes his way back from a serious knee injury.
The 21-year-old joined the club in August from West Brom.
Leko suffered an ACL injury while on loan with Charlton from the Baggies in December last year and has been working hard to get himself back into contention for first-team football with the Blues.
“I have the same impression that I had when we signed him,” Karanka said. “He’s a good player who is quick and good in front of the goal.
