1,500 UP FOR BOSS WARNOCK

NEIL Warnock reached another career landmark this weekend and assistant Kevin Blackwell joked he will still be a manager beyond the age of 100.
Middlesbrough boss Warnock, 71, took charge of his 1,500th Football League game against Barnsley at the Riverside yesterday after recovering from coronavirus.
Warnock embarked on his first season as manager at Gainsborough Trinity 40 years ago and Blackwell has been alongside him most of the way.
“We’ve been very lucky,” Blackwell said. “I think he could manage until he’s 101!”
