Henderson pulls win out of hat for City

SALFORD manager Graham Alexander heaped praise on hat-trick hero Ian Henderson following his match-winning display against ten-man Grimsby Town. After netting penalties either side of half-time at Blundell Park, the veteran striker nodded home a late third before Richie Towell rubber stamped the three points.
Alexander was delighted with Henderson’s display, after signing the striker from Rochdale in the summer.
“I was delighted for Hendo to score his first hat-trick for the club,” Alexander said. “We knew what we were signing when he came here....
