ROVERS STUNG BY TRAVIS INJURY SETBACK

LEWIS TRAVIS could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, with Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray fearing the midfielder has hurt his lateral knee ligament.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury during Rovers’ Carabao Cup defeat at Newcastle in midweek, hobbling off in the closing stages following a 50- 50 challenge with Jacob Murphy.
Travis may require surgery, with Mowbray saying: “It looks like we’ve picked up a pretty bad injury unfortunately.
