MOST neutrals will have been delighted to see Eoin Doyle bag a couple of goals for Swindon in midweek.
The Irishman was having the season of his life on loan at the Robins before being recalled by parent club Bradford in January. The ‘Ginger Pele’ had notched 23 league goals in 22 games, including scoring in an incredible 11 games in a row.
However, he then failed to score in four games at Bradford and in another four once he’d made a permanent switch back to Swindon for an undisclosed fee in late January.
