SARCEVIC TO RESCUE FOR THE PILGRIMS

PLYMOUTH missed the chance to climb into the automatic promotion places, but picked up a valuable point with a late equaliser at struggling Macclesfield.
Mark Kennedy’s Macc took the lead through Shilow Tracey on 33 minutes and it looked as though they would earn a surprise victory against the promotion- chasers.
However, the Pilgrims drew level with six minutes left. Top scorer Antoni Sarcevic was felled in the box to give them a penalty.
Macc keeper Jonathan Mitchell saved from Sarcevic, but he tucked home the rebound.
