GEORGE Maris says Mark Bonner’s back-tobasics approach is working wonders at Cambridge.
The U’s had won four consecutive matches under caretaker-manager Bonner following Colin Calderwood’s departure going into yesterday’s clash with Plymouth.
Midfielder Maris, 23, said: “We are all enjoying it a lot more at the minute.
“Everyone comes in with a smile on their face, and we all know our job for the team because we’re a unit and work hard in training.
“Bonz has simplified it all for us, and it’s showed on the pitch.”
