THE sale of highly-rated defender Sam McCallum to Norwich City will help to “fill black holes” in Coventry City’s finances, according to boss Mark Robins.
McCallum has put pen to paper on an undisclosed deal with the Premier League club but has rejoined the Sky Blues on loan for the remainder of the season.
Robins said he was unhappy to let the 19-yearold go but admitted the offer was “too big to turn down” as City continue to play outside of Coventry.
