GRIMSBY Town have every reason to believe something is building at Blundell Park – despite falling to their first defeat under Ian Holloway.
Having taken seven points from a possible nine at the start of 2020, the Mariners were undone by tidy finish from Exeter’s Nicky Law. It was a somewhat lucky winner as far as the Grecians are concerned, with Grimsby putting together the better passages of play – as well as twice hitting a post.
Holloway, though, has enthused and reinvigorated the fans – and that looks set to continue after over 6,000 attended.
