MELLON’S BACKING…

LEAGUE ONE
TRANMERE boss Micky Mellon has backed Luke McCullough after the midfielder joined Rovers on non-contract terms.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Prenton Park, making 36 appearances. A knee injury ended his campaign in March and McCullough had been training with Tranmere since being released by Doncaster. Mellon said: “Luke is now at a stage where he can fight back to fitness.”
