OXFORD boss Karl Robinson has expressed disappointment at the news that Chris Cadden has been recalled from his loan spell by Columbus Crew.
The 23-year-old Scotland international has impressed at right-back for the U’s, with the club firmly in the hunt for promotion.
“He’s not just a very good player, he is also an outstanding young man,” Robinson said.
“We did all we could to keep him; we made a good offer to buy him, but it fell short of Columbus’s valuation of £1million.
“Personally, I think he has been badly advised.”
