AS Dejphon Chansiri prepares to do battle with the EFL, Sheffield Wednesday fans are entitled to ask themselves a question. Does the owner’s love for the club and desire for success outweigh behaviour that is at best reckless and, at worst, incompetent?
Wednesday have been charged by the EFL for selling their ground to Chansiri in an attempt to avoid breaking Profit & Sustainability rules.
Chansiri himself has now threatened to sue, claiming he received assurances from the EFL that his purchase was compliant with the rules.
