CHARLIE Austin kept his cool to fire West Brom back to the top of the table on Monday night.
It looked as though the game at faltering Preston would end up goalless until the Baggies were awarded a controversial penalty in the 90th minute.
Preston keeper Declan Rudd was adjudged to have brought down substitute Kyle Edwards, though the hosts felt he hadn’t touched him.
