ALEX Addai nearly gave up on a career in football but with five goals so far this season, the Cheltenham Town midfielder is on the way to to securing his place as a League Two starter.
The 25-year-old striker grabbed the headlines when he scored the matchwinner in Cheltenham’s FA Cup first round replay against Swindon at the County Ground on Tuesday.
And the former Tottenham youngster is taking things one step at a time as he is gradually integrated into Michael Duff ‘s first team.
