MANNING’S DELIGHT AT CALL-UP

QPR’S Ryan Manning was pleased to see his hard work pay off with a maiden call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad.
The versatile 23-yearold was named in a provisional 39-man squad for a friendly clash with New Zealand and Euro 2020 qualifier against Denmark.
Manning said: “International recognition is obviously a really nice thing to happen but, what I’ve always said, is that it comes off the back of performing every week with your club.
“Getting the call-up is nice, but it is more of a reflection of how well the beginning of the season has gone for me....
