JOE MAGUIRE expressed thanks to the medical staff who looked after him when he sustained concussion in Accrington’s heavy defeat at Peterborough in midweek.
The 23-year-old suffered a blow to the head from a fierce shot, shortly after coming on as a substitute.
Maguire said: “I would like to thank everyone, including the Accrington staff, the Peterborough medical staff, everyone at Peterborough Hospital and the Peterborough fans for their support.
“I had a bit of a headache but I had a CT scan and it was thankfully all-clear.
