This derby weekend is extra special
A DERBY always stirs the passion of football fans – and the fixture computer threw up a glut of them this weekend.
For starters, there was a Saturday lunchtime double bill as Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds played out a goalless draw in their Yorkshire clash at Hillsborough and Exeter humbled Plymouth 4-0 in the big West Country encounter.
At 3pm, there were further duels as Huddersfield entertained Barnsley and Preston hosted Blackburn.
